Page Personnel have just registered a new, permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk position with a well established Construction business based on the outskirts of Wetherby. This is a newly created role and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance candidate looking for a new position within Accounts Payable.

Description

  • Manage and maintain the purchase ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate.
  • Process invoices and payments in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and reporting.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Adhere to all company policies and regulations relating to the Purchase Ledger.
  • Support other members of the Accounting & Finance team as required.

Profile

  • A strong educational background in Accounting or Finance.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Offer

Salary up to £27,000 per annum + hybrid working + accessible office location + free parking on site + excellent staff benefits + fully permanent role.
