Residential Conveyancing Paralegal

• Salary Range: £28,000 - £35,000

My client is seeking a dedicated Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join their team in Central London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including opening files, managing accounts, and handling post-completion matters. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for property law.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Opening and managing client files efficiently.
• Raising and managing accounts related to property transactions.
• Handling post-completion matters including filing Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns.
• Drafting notices to landlords as part of the conveyancing process.
• Dealing with the conveyancing of new build properties and second-hand properties.
• Ensuring all documentation and processes comply with legal regulations and company policies.
• Communicating effectively with clients, solicitors, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably within residential conveyancing (minimum 1 years of experience in the field)
• Familiarity with the conveyancing process, including post-completion matters.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
