Due to company growth we are currently recruiting for a Repair Technician working DAYSMonday to Friday to join a for a well-established electronics company based in Stoke On Trent. Free parking and an early finish on a Friday are just of the perks with this family run business!

This Repair Technician role is permanent with a salary up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm (0800-1700); Friday 8am-2pm (0800-1400)

As a RepairTechnician you will be working in a small team of 5 reporting to the General Manager with responsibility for the following:

  • Evaluating items for repair and diagnosing faults.
  • Repairing and testing the electrical devices which could include Rectifiers, Power Supplies, Inverters and Drives.
  • Assist with PDU Builds, Battery Testing and Site Installations.
  • Ordering of new supplies, as per repair requests.
  • Creating documentation to support products.
  • You should be willing to attend training courses where appropriate.

We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working as a Repair Technician or similar
  • Electrical fault-finding diagnosis and test
  • Soldering skills
  • Good IT skills to record information
  • Excellent communication skills to liase with customers regarding their products.
