My client is a fast-growing Inbound Tour Operating Company based in central Cheltenham. They are one of Britain's most trusted and experienced inbound tour operators who specialise in providing a full range of bespoke travel services for tour operators and tour organisers wishing to send groups and individuals to the British Isles and Continental Europe. Due to such growth, they are looking for a Tour Consultant to join the team.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Tour Consultant?

• To make all necessary arrangements, confirmations, payments etc with relevant suppliers such as hotels, coach companies, guides, restaurants, visitor attractions etc.
• Responsibility for organizing specified itineraries and tours so as to achieve the closest possible match to the clients’ requirements.
• To assist where necessary with the preparation of tour materials, written itineraries etc, and to check these for accuracy.
• Where appropriate to make a creative contribution to the content of tours, based on relevant knowledge and experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications for the Tour Consultant?

• Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
• Experience in a tour opperating role previously is desirable 
• Interest within the Travel & Tourism industry
• Well Travled with a strong geographical knowlage 
• Positive attitude, with a strong work ethic

• Being fluent within other languages is desirable (French/German/Italian/Spanish/Portuguese)
