The Role

This is an incredible opportunity for a Risk Officer join the team to help ensure that risk matters are dealt with timely and effectively. You'll be working closely with senior team members and company executives so great communication skills are a must! There are also exciting opportunities to progress with this company - it's the perfect time to apply.

The company are looking for someone with excellent critical thinking skills to take ownership of developing, implementing and maintain risk strategies.

They offer a hybrid policy of 4 days a week in their Cheshire-based office, close to transport links.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess new risks as they arise
• Communicate risk matters to stakeholders
• Contribute to the maintenance and development of Risk Strategy, Risk Policies, Internal Control Systems, Risk Appetite Statement and ORSA.
• Develop and provide training materials
• Undertake risk incident reporting for wide-scale risk knowledge sharing
• Ensure proper engagement with the Data Protection Office
• Review regulatory materials, research new tops and draw conclusions.
• Identify governance goals in discussion with managers, agree actions and track them. Consider results and amend guidance based on results/outcomes.

Key Requirements:

• Solvency II
• Excel / PowerPoint
• Great understanding of risk frameworks
• Relevant Qualifications
