An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Science Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive environment of an “Outstanding” school located in Ladywood, Birmingham.

*** Teaching science through KS3 and KS4

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-quality, engaging science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning and implementing creative and differentiated teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Fostering a love for science through hands-on experiments, discussions, and real-world applications.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing timely feedback to support their academic development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the science curriculum.
  • Supporting extracurricular activities and initiatives to enrich the learning experience for students.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in science or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level, with a strong track record of student achievement.
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to promoting the intellectual and personal growth of students.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
