Semi-Senior Accountant

Semi-Senior Accountant required. My client is a well-established accountancy practice based in the Greater Manchester area, who provide a personal and professional accounting service to all of their clients.

They are seeking an individual who can deliver exceptional customer service to their clients, prepare and maintain accurate financial records for clients and help prepare and analyse financial information in accordance with UK GAAP. It will be necessary to assist other staff from time to time.

• Accounts preparation for sole traders and small LTD companies
• Prepare client accounts to companies act standards
• Bookkeeping for clients
• Attent client sites to input financial information into their accounting software packages
• Prepare final accounts and company tax returns
• Be the point of contact to our clients over email, on the phone and in person
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues/clients

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and be AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified/part-qualified.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
• AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified-part-qualified
• Previous accounts preparation experience
• A highly organised and ambitious individual

• £26,000-£32,000 basic salary
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays
