NB. You will need a DBS that is on the Update Service in order to be eligible as this is a role to start ASAP.

We are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP on a full time basis at a special needs college in the south Bolton area. You will be supporting students with Complex Needs.

The Role

  • SEN Teaching Assistant supporting students with Complex Needs.
  • Start ASAP on a full time & long term basis.
  • Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm with 30mins break each day.
  • Pay up to £85/day.
  • Could turn permanent for the right person.
  • Ongoing CPD for long term staff.
  • Collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Provide learning support as well as physical, emotional & social support.

The School

  • Special Needs college for students aged 19-25 with Complex Needs.
  • Growing and improving provision that has just opened a second site.
  • Team environment with daily briefings to share information.
  • Friendly, approachable & understanding management.
  • Skilled and experienced staff that will mentor and support new staff.
  • Bespoke set up to help cater for students needs.

To join us and be successful in this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to pay for a new one).
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
  • Minimum of two professional references checks.
  • Provide a CV with full history from your education until present.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Some experience supporting young people with additional needs.
