SEN Tutor QTS - Essex, Chigwell

Position: SEN Teacher or Teacher with SEN Experience
Location: Epping, Harlow, Loughton, and Chigwell
Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience working with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Ability to work in 3-hour blocks with students 1:1
• Flexibility to work with students in their homes or neutral settings like community libraries
• Commitment to provided timetable for consistency in student support
• Excellent communication skills with students and the organization
• Specialisms in core subjects for both Primary and Secondary levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with students in 1:1 settings to support their learning and development
• Providing tailored support to ensure students can access the curriculum effectively
• Delivering sessions in blocks ranging from 4 weeks to termly, based on student needs
• Ensuring students work no more than 15 hours per week for optimal learning
• Offering flexibility in working hours to accommodate shorter days
