Are you a SEND Learning Support Assistant with experience supporting students with Profound Multiple learning difficulties? starting ASAP in Mitchem.

Empowering Learning Ltd are looking to appoint outstanding SEND Learning Support Assistants in the Merton / Mitchem area with experience supporting SEND students, particularly to work with students with Profound Multiple Learning difficulties. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who are hands on and can support students with physical needs; assisting with personal care such as hygiene and feeding, manual handling and assisting with therapy sessions to support students to reach the best of their abilities. You will also be responsible for promoting an inclusive learning environment. So, if you would like the opportunity to make a difference to others and develop a career in working with children with then this is a great opportunity to do so. This position is for a January start and can start straight away for the right person. Hours of work 8.30 till 4pm. ( not negotiable) happy to start this side of the academic year.

To be successful for this role you must:

  • Have passion, enthusiasm, and willingness to work in SEND Learning environments
  • Have knowledge and experience with PMLD students
  • Play a significant role in the students learning journey
  • Additional training such as manual handling, hoisting, personal care.
