Senior Accountant / Practice Manager

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join a forward thinking Accountancy Practice based in their Hemel Hempstead office.

The Accounts Senior will be tasked with handling a portfolio, offering advice to clients whilst also offering training and assisting with Junior members of staff in this varied position.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced senior Accountant with some existing client facing experience that you are keen to develop.

Senior Accountant Position Overview

• Preparing statutory accounts
• Offering advice to your portfolio of clients
• Preparing And Submitting VAT returns
• Training and delegating work to Juniors
• Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts

Senior Accountant Position Requirements

• AAT, ACCA or ACA qualified
• Experience within practice
• Competent using MS Outlook, Word and Excel
• Competent using Xero
• Experience of Iris and Bright Pay software packages would be preferable

Senior Accountant Position Remuneration

• £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
• Discretionary bonuses
• WFH 3 days per week / flexibility where needed
