Senior Accountant

A forward thinking and progressive accountancy practice in Leigh on Sea, are looking to recruit a senior accountant/client manager to their team, to help strengthen the business, and aid its growth. This practice pride themselves on offering a friendly and professional service for personal, SME, & Corporate clients, both nationally and internationally

The successful candidate will be working closely alongside the partner, and be handling a large client portfolio, managing relations with the firms best clients. This is an excellent opportunity to further your career, with excellent progression opportunities available

• Managing a client portfolio of 150 clients, including the firms best and largest clients
• Financial reporting, preparing and reviewing year-end statutory accounts, management accounts, and financial statements for clients
• Tax Compliance and Advisory, managing corporate, personal tax, and VAT returns. Offering tax advice to clients
• Identifying opportunities for business growth and expansion
• Financial Analysis, analysing financial data and providing insights to clients
• Regulatory compliance
• Team collaboration

• ACCA, ACA, FCCA, ICAEW qualified is preferred. Part ACCA or QBE is also acceptable
• Able to commute to Leigh on Sea
• Able to hit the ground running
• Minimum of 4 years practice experience
• No requirement for sponsorship

• Salary depending on experience, ranging from £35k-45k
• Hybrid working
