One of our clients is looking for a Strategic Data Modeler to support the data function as part of a wider SAP S/4 Hana implementation.

Role: Senior Data Modeler (SAP S/4 Hana)

Contract: 6 months initially

Rate: £1000-£1500pd Outside IR35

Location: Predominantly remote with ad hoc travel to a central London office

One of our clients is looking for a data specialist to support the design, creation and delivery of the strategic data model plan as part of a wider global SAP S4 Hana implementation. The ask here is for a strategic, C-Suite advisory level of knowledge and relationship gravitas. The selected candidate will be able to evidence multiple examples of deploying this expertise to large FMCG companies in recent years.

Key responsibilities:

  • Shape the strategy around the data model landscape as part of the SAP S4 Hana implementation
  • Provide expertise on the best approach to take with designing, creating, and maintaining data models as part of the wider ERP programme
  • Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models, acting as the link between the business, customers, 3rd parties
  • Advise and define data models for all processes (e.g. O2C, P2P or R2R) within the data lake to allow analytical insights to be drawn

Key requirements:

  • In-depth experience shaping the strategy around Data Models as part of a SAP S/4 Hana implementation
  • Experience within FMCG/Consumer goods necessary
  • Have created end-to-end data models across all core processes within finance transformation (e.g. O2c, R2R and P2P)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills necessary, engaging with stakeholders at all levels including end clients, SI's and technical teams
