Worthing (Hybrid) - Senior Embedded Software Engineer - 60-65k

This is a great opportunity to join a client that are specialist manufacturers on the south coast. They are looking for an experienced Embedded Engineer who will be responsible for the real-time state machine architecture which defines the control loop & digital interfaces for their range of controllers. More details below:


Main Duties:

+ Take responsibility for the design, implementation, testing, documentation, and support of the DSP/FPGA real-time servo control system.
+ Create and optimise DSP/FPGA code
+ Deliver Embedded bare-metal DSP projects using TI devices
+ Lead investigations in identifying and resolving software/hardware issues both in development and in the field


Skills Needed:

+ Experience with FPGA development using VHDL (Xilinx)
+ Experience delivering embedded bare-metal DSP projects using TI devices
+ Experience programming in C or C++
+ Experienced with embedded software quality processes such as version control and code reviews.


Further Information:

This role would offer hybrid working and you would usually get 2-3 days from home depending on projects. The role comes with strong benefits including up to 13% company contribution to pension depending on your age.
