Senior Engineering Manager | FinTech | London | £120,000

Method Resourcing is working with a London based FinTech company that is going through an international expansion and is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager as they build Agile teams.

These Senior Engineering Manager roles will be management and architecture (no coding) focussed, with each person being responsible for 2 development teams working in sprints, building backend microservices in Scala with Kafka messaging. The long-term roadmap has been established and you will be guiding, growing, and monitoring team progress.

Our client is based in London and hybrid working is available. There will be a 3-stage interview process and we are looking to quickly and efficiently through the process.

Skills & Experience You'll Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience with Scala or related technologies, with 2+ years in a lead or managerial capacity.
  • Experience of leading & developing technology teams.
  • Experience in the same or similar role with a proven track record of driving and leading technical excellence.
  • Experience in infrastructure, application, and Microservice based Platforms.
  • Possess hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of architecture.
  • Experience with solution design and architecture
    (specifically in microservices).
  • Experience of improving customer experience technologies
  • Dynamic, engaging, and collaborative leader with experience of successfully leading and managing diverse teams.
