Senior Events Coordinator

City of London | Hybrid (One day a week in the office)

Our client, a London based charity, is looking for a Senior Events Coordinator to join their team to support on the planning and organisation of global corporate and high-profile events.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Reporting into the Special Events Manager, you will play a key role in organising and coordinating events, overseeing logistics and taking ownership over any promotional tasks. The role will focus on corporate and high profile fundraising events where you will be responsible for liasing with senior stakeholders:
  • Coordinating, attend and minute committee meetings
  • Support the Special Events Manager in all logistical aspects
  • Take ownership of certain elements of the role (i.e. merchandising and branding)
  • Manage suppliers and contractors
  • Liasing with participants on event information
  • Monitoring data
  • Attend events when needed
WHO YOU ARE

Our client is looking for a candidate with a proven track record of coordinating successful boutique events, ideally within the corporate sector. You will be a proactive person with a positive attitude able to work autonomously and be flexible when needed.  Anyone with a high end events background would be a good fit for this role!

Requirements:
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • 3+ years within event management
  • Confident and professional when presenting to small groups
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working on events from incepetion to execution
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
