This recognisable and highly influential public sector organisation is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their high-performing team on a permanent basis. This newly created role will manage a team of two direct reports across one of the organisation’s highest profile divisions, enabling stakeholders to deliver on their targets and facilitate the delivery of sound financial advice to enable decision making.

The key duties of this Senior Finance Business Partner role are as follows:

  • Provide expert financial advice and support, guiding decision-making at all levels.
  • Lead and mentor team members, fostering leadership skills and promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Build and nurture key relationships, influencing stakeholders and senior management.
  • Drive strategic direction through financial analysis, performance evaluation, and risk assessment.
  • Contribute to the implementation of recommendations following an independent financial management review.
  • Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • The holder of a full professional finance qualification (CCAB or equivalent).

  • Proficient in data analytics, leveraging data to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • A strong leader, with a focus on team motivation and development.
  • Influential and capable of building consensus and driving change.
