Position: Senior Full Stack Developer (Node + React)
Location: London - Hybrid (Two Days in London Office)
Salary: Up to £100,000 + 6.5% Car Allowance + 22.5% Bonus
About the Role:
This is a really exciting opportunity for a Senior / Lead Full stack developer to join a Dynamic team at a global insurance company. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications used to deliver content to consumers. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll utilize your expertise in React, TypeScript, and Node.js to create modular web components that enable user input and analytical interrogation. Your role will involve developing scalable and secure applications, providing guidance to junior team members, leading software engineering projects, and potentially taking online management responsibilities in the future.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Initially you will spend 60% of your time working with Frontend technologies and the remaining 40% on Backend Development.
- Create deployable, scalable, and secure applications.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
- Lead projects from a software engineering perspective.
- Potential for line management responsibilities in the future.
Skills Required:
- Expertise in Express, React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience working with Cloud Technologies (preferably Azure but will consider people from AWS background).
- Proficiency in testing frameworks such Jest.
- Working knowledge of either MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Proven track record of deploying web applications on the Cloud.
