Bristow Holland have an excellent opportunity for an Senior IT Support Engineer to join a nationwide manufacturing business based in Bury St Edmunds who are currently going through an exciting growth period.

In this role you will provide a high standard of IT support throughout the business and work closely with the ICT Manager on project delivery. You will form part of the infrastructure team where you will be expected to work to best practice and help develop a positive culture around IT and the various technologies in the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT support to staff remotely and onsite.
  • Help maintain existing server Infrastructure both on-premises and in Azure IaaS
  • Deploy and maintain desktops and laptops.
  • Deploy and maintain company owned mobile devices.
  • Maintain the company’s cloud services with Microsoft (Office 365, Entra ID & Azure).
  • Day to day management of the company’s cyber security toolset including Sophos and Mimecast
  • Help deploy and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Support the ICT Manager and IT Project leads with project delivery.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation to a high standard.
  • Help mentor junior IT staff through their development when applicable.
