Exciting opportunity for a Lab Technician looking to add to their current skillset and responsibilities or a more experienced candidate looking to continue their career in Pharmaceutical Drug Discovery.

As a Senior Lab Technician, you will be responsible for completing technician activities to support the general upkeep and function of the various labs across the site. You will also use your experience of cell biology, and in particular, cell culture to establish cell lines to be used in drug development projects. Aside from your technician responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to be trained in assays relevant to the team projects i.e. Molecular Biology & DMPK.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • BSc or MSc in Biological Sciences (or related field)
  • Cell culture; both mammalian and insect cell lines
  • Experience with aseptic technique
  • >1 or 2 years industry experience is highly advantageous
