Senior Ladieswear Designer.

Maternity cover, minimum 9 month contract

c£32,000 pro rata

Experienced Designer with License experience being recruited to cover a period of Maternity Leave with my client, a Global fashion company.

Having mid / high level of experience working as a licensed apparel designer, CAD and Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and confidence in range development with ability to predict fashion and licence trends and customise them into commercial products is desired.

Working with Film and TV properties, Retro and Character licenses and Icons , supplying to a customer based of supermarkets and high street retailers

Responsibilities include:

Undertake design projects and allocate to direct reports

Support Design Director on projects as required

Identify and understand the end consumer for specific retailers

Develop ranges and products for customers

Produce accurate and detailed CAD drawings and artwork files for sampling

Present ranges to Buyers including mood boards

Daily contact with sales and technical teams

UK and Overseas travel for competitor analysis

Attending Industry trade fairs and licensor specific events
