Senior Lettings Negotiator Needed in Marlborough
Our client is seeking a talented Senior Lettings Negotiator to join their Marlborough office. In this role, you will manage the rental of a portfolio of properties, aiming to grow the office by reaching targets and ensuring adherence to established lettings policies. Your role will also involve cultivating strong relationships with current and potential clients.
Key Benefits:
  • £23-25k basic salary (DOE)
  • Car allowance of £2,500
  • Pooled commission structure
  • £30-35k OTE

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market appraisals and develop new business leads, handling your own client portfolio to achieve or surpass targets.
  • Convert appraisals into successful lettings instructions.
  • Actively manage applicants and update databases to maximize potential instructions.
  • Maintain effective relationships with landlords and applicants.
  • Organize viewing appointments, market appraisals, and negotiate offers.
  • Uphold the company’s reputation by providing exceptional service to clients.
  • Maintain high standards of record keeping and file management for compliance and accuracy.
  • Develop new marketing and business opportunities.
  • Register applicants in the system and oversee the take-on process for successful appraisals.
  • Ensure all necessary funds, references, and compliance are in place before move-ins.
What It Takes to Be Successful:
  • Extensive experience in residential lettings, particularly in a negotiation role.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized with strong administrative abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the local property market is beneficial.
  • Role requires frequent travel; therefore, a valid driving license is essential.
Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm
  • Saturdays: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (1 in 3 Saturdays)
