Senior Management Accountant - External Reporting - FTC - International Banking

Excellent opportunity opens for an experienced Accountant to join an International Bank in a crucial role, working directly with the Head of Finance based in Singapore. 

Management Accounts

• Reports to Head of Finance and assist with timely preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Ensure effective financial controls are in place and maintained in order to safeguard the company’s Assets and Capital which may be subject to internal and/or external audits reportable at the Audit Committee.
• Support to the Head of Finance to manage overall budget and forecasting process including preparation of annual budget, performance against budget and preparation of internal and external forecasts for the evolving business.
• Assist the Head of Finance to develop policies and procedures for the Finance function across London and Singapore relevant for the evolving business.
• Assist other departments in financial related tasks as and when required.
• Support the AP function in ensuring invoices are approved and paid in a timely manner.

External Reporting:

• Support the Head of Finance with any external financial reporting requirements, ensuring they are met in an accurate and timely manner including regulators in both London and Singapore.
• Prepare MIF returns for submission to the FCA in accordance with the MIFIDPRU handbook under IFPR.
• Prepare Large Exposure Monitoring under IFPR for cash accounts.
• Prepare other Financial Reporting to FCA.
• Prepare regulatory and tax disclosures in the Financial Statements.
• Lead on tax activities for the company including tax computations and payments, tax governance and liaison with HMRC.
• Assist in the preparation of the Annual Corporate Tax return.
• Assisting Risk department preparing regulatory documents including ICARA, by providing relevant financial input.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (3-5 years’ experience)
• ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA Qualified
