Reporting to the Financial Controller and managing a small team, the successful applicant will be responsible for the preparation of all management financial accounts, budgets, group consolidations and financial information. More specifically, key tasks will include the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, budgets and financial forecasts on a regular basis, the preparation of consolidated accounts and cash flow statements, the preparation and completion of Statutory/Regulatory matters within deadlines, including client money calculations and RMARs, manage, support and provide direction to members of the accounts team, including the co-ordination of the different aspects of the financial function, develop, monitor and maintain management information systems and procedures, preparation and submission of VAT Returns, corporation tax returns and computations and authorising payments on online banking systems.
Applicants must be fully qualified accountants with at least 5+ years relevant experience gained within a Lloyd's Insurance brokers, ideally have experience of managing staff (although this is not essential) and possess a sound understanding of FCA client money rules.
