Job Title: Shot Blaster

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £13.00 - £13.75ph

Metalis is working in partnership with an engineering company in Sheffield who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a Shot Blaster on a 12-week temporary to permanent contract.

Job Duties:

  • Manage all materials ready for shotblasting
  • Manage and assist in the blasting and final inspection
  • Cleaning and operations of all material booked for dispatch
  • Working with various metals such as low alloy steel, nickel, pure metals and more
  • Working in fast paced production environment
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications

Job Requirements:

  • Experience within shotblasting
  • Experience working with metals
  • Used to working in fast paced engineering or manufacturing environments

Salary & Shift:

  • Days regular
  • Monday - Thursday - 7am - 4pm
  • Friday - 7am - 3pm
  • £13.00 - £13.75ph dependent on experience
  • 12 weeks temporary to permanent role
