We are seeking an experience Site Engineer to join the final stages of an external works and infrastructure project in Morpeth.

The role will require an engineer who is competent with some setting out, QA / QC and As Built Surveys.

The company do have ore work in the pipeline and therefore this role could lead to longer term opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
* Execute on-site engineering tasks, including surveying and setting out.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
* Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical support.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
* Adhere to safety standards and quality control measures.

What we're looking for
* Extensive experience working on major construction projects on behalf of the Principal Contractor
* A relevant Degree / HND in Civil Engineering
* CSCS Card
* SMSTS
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage & trouble-shoot technical issues & meet deadlines
* Willingness to work weekends once a month

Remuneration
* This is a freelance position and you will be engaged through Search Consultancy for the duration of the project.
* The rate is negotiable depending on experience; £300-350 per day plus overtime rates for any weekend work.
