What You'll Do:
As a Software Engineer Manager, you'll:

• Apply software engineering principles and methodologies to design, develop, test, and maintain applications and services.
• Oversee the quality of work, ensuring it meets technical standards and aligns with business objectives.
• Design reusable libraries and APIs, driving platform component reuse.
• Automate build and deployment processes to enable greater automation.
• Deliver software components to enable platform delivery.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.

The Skills You'll Need:
To excel in this role, you'll need:

• Strong background in software engineering, software design, or database architecture.
• Extensive experience in developing software in a SOA or microservices paradigm.
• Proficiency in a programming language, industry-recognized frameworks, and development tooling.
• Background in implementing programming best practices.
• Experience in Azure Cloud and the financial services sector is advantageous.
• Experience managing teams, coaching, mentoring, and leading developers.
• Expertise in test-driven development, SOLID principles, and clean coding.
• Background in development, preferably C# or .NET.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
