Software Support / Application Support Analyst required for my London based client for a permanent role.

Location is near Euston.

This is hybrid working - 1 day per week in the office.

Salary approx. £30k - maybe negotiable for someone exceptional.

This is an opportunity for an individual to develop new skills and knowledge withing the field.

Key job responsibilities

o Technical incident management (call logging, troubleshooting, escalation)

o Product support and maintenance (hardware and software) primarily through remote access

o PC and server software installations, configuration and testing of bespoke software

o End user training

o Documenting critical and routine procedures as well as end user literature

o Out of hours event support both remotely and on site (this is included in the annual salary offer)

o Troubleshoot various problems that arise with day-to-day work and resolve issues

o Provide support for the Development Team

o Contact and liaise with clients where necessary to help with technical issues

Essential skills required

o Knowledge of T-SQL is an advantage

o A sound technical grounding, including a good understanding of networking principles and Microsoft server and desktop environments

o Excellent communication, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

o Reliability and a willingness to solve client demands

o A keenness for new experiences, responsibility, and accountability

o Ability to establish a good working relationship with customers and fellow colleagues

o Able to prioritise tasks whilst maintaining a clear customer focused approach
