Job Role: Stores Person / FLT Driver
Location: Pontefract
Shift: Days regular
Salary: £13 - £14

Metalis are working with a prestigious Engineering company based in Pontefract. They are well known for supplying of generators and manufacturing components within a wide range of industries.

They are a longstanding company, and due to an expanding order book, they are in search for a Stores Person / FLT Driver to join their welcoming and growing team for a fantastic new opportunity on a 12-week temporary to permanent contract.

Job Role:

  • Stores person/FLT they need to be good with paperwork as they will be controlling all the goods in steel that comes through the factory, if they have a side loader or multi directional License that would be good.
  • Moving goods and equipment throughout the business.
  • Unloading via fork truck.
  • Storing goods & equipment correctly.
  • Passing on all associated paperwork & documentation so that the system can be updated.
  • Daily reporting of any issues within the working environment
  • Receiving instruction and following responsibilities including Processes, Procedures & Technical.

Job Requirements:

  • The candidate must hold a full Counterbalance License/certificate
  • Sideloader License highly desired.

Shifts & Salary:

  • Day shift
  • £13-14ph with potential to increase after performance reviews.
