Location: South West London
Salary: £30,023 - £31,829 (Full-Time Equivalent)
Hours: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Student Achievement Tutor to join our dedicated Student Achievement Team. This role is pivotal in nurturing our learners’ academic and personal growth, ensuring they are well-equipped for their future endeavours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging weekly group tutorials covering a diverse range of topics including safeguarding, pastoral care, career guidance, social action, and study skills.
  • Conduct individual sessions with students to set SMART goals, explore progression opportunities, and foster achievement.
  • Oversee the execution of study programme components such as career advantage, Gatsby benchmarks, work experience, and enrichment projects.
  • Collaborate with curriculum teams to address attendance and behavioural issues, liaising with external agencies and parents/carers as necessary.
  • Monitor and support vulnerable student groups, coordinating with internal and external support teams to facilitate success and progression.
  • Supervise common areas during designated times and lead enrichment and student voice activities.

Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A confident approach to engaging with young people and facilitating group discussions.
  • The ability to address a wide array of topics affecting youth, from personal concerns to broader societal issues.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, capable of working harmoniously with internal teams and external partners, including parents and carers.
