Support worker for Semi-Independent accommodation

Full-time, part-time hours contract or zero hours contract

Salary 11.50 - 13 per hour

NonStop Social Care is looking for a passionate person that would like to work with vulnerable young people to support them in daily life skills.

This is working for one of our well-reputed clients located in Bexley. This company has been privately own and improving lives of children and young people in London. They have several services such as foster care, semi-independent homes providing high-quality social care services since 1997.

Working in partnership with local council they offer semi-independent accommodation to 5 young people who are leaving the care system. Age between 16 to 21 who have been in foster care or residential homes.

Responsibilities

This role can be full-time, part-time or zero hours contract.

You will help the young people with cooking, budgeting, accessing education, training or employment. Providing
structured mentoring sessions that aim to promote the life skills of young people and support their transition into adulthood and independence.

Our Shifts:
All day shift - 14 hours
Early shift- 7 hours
Late shift- 7 hours
Activity based- Hours vary

Requirements

Please apply if:

- you are passionate to make a difference for vulnerable young people

- you can commit to at least 7 to 40 hours per week

- it is preferred that you have some experience working with young people
