Salary: £10.75ph to £11.13ph
Hours: Full Time

A&F Healthcare are proud to offer this role on behalf of a specialist health and social care provider supporting individuals with a learning disability, autism, or mental health diagnoses. This service works with a person-centered approach, supporting people to live as independently as possible and to access the community around them.

The role:
We are currently recruiting for full time Support Workers to join a successful service, which includes Residential Care Homes and Supported Living in the High Wycombe area. .
Services are 24/7 Monday – Sunday, so candidates are required to be flexible, with no restrictions on what they can work and when.  It would be alternate weekends and bank holidays. Please note these positions do not include night work and shifts can be made up of earlies, mid’s and late’s (10pm).

Requirements for the role:
  • A passion to provide support and assistance with daily living to people with autism, mental health diagnoses and learning disabilities.
  • Clear communication skills (verbally & written).
  • Able to carry out personal care tasks in some services (female & male residents).
  • Good hygiene and infection control skills.
  • Level 2 in Health and Social Care (desirable).
  • MUST HAVE UK RIGHT TO WORK.
Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary - £10.75 per hour (Rising to £11.13 per hour after successful probation*)
* If you hold a level 2 relevant qualification, salary starts at £11.13 (rising to £11.50 after probation) and if you hold a level 3 relevant qualification, salary starts at £11.50 (rising to £11.95 after probation)
  • 28 days holiday and 1 extra day's holiday for every year worked (up to 5 years).
