The Role

Our client is currently looking for a Design Engineer to join their expanding site in Telford. The client is a market leading manufacturer and supplier to some of the UK's most well-known house-hold brands.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To be able to design as well as create systems responding to the needs of the business.
  • To analyse and re-design the business process to ensure that efficiency.
  • To work in a team that is enhances systems using data to help decision-making within the business.
  • To ensure continuous optimisation of the process and that all the systems are optimised.
  • To be involved with web development solutions, and being up to date with technical documentation.
  • To be comfortable with supporting as well as general maintenance of supporting databases, systems and platforms.
  • To perform ad-hoc duties which includes specialised reporting.

The Candidate

  • Proven work experience as a Systems Developer or in a similar role.
  • Experience of end-to-end processes improvements and design.
  • To have in-depth knowledge of relational databases, including SQL Server.
  • In-depth knowledge of programming languages.
  • To have knowledge of front and back-end web systems.
