Teaching Assistant | Haringey, N10 | Long Term-Perm | £95-£105 | ASAP Start

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of students? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team, focusing on providing one-on-one support for a boy with ADHD and challenging behaviour in our Year 4 class. Additionally, the successful candidate will also lead Lego therapy sessions and interventions for Year 5 and Year 6 students.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to a Year 4 student with ADHD and challenging behaviour, helping to create a conducive learning environment.
  • Implement strategies and interventions to support the student's development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere
  • Lead Lego therapy sessions and language for behaviour interventions for Year 5 and Year 6 students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop learning plans and behavioural strategies for students with diverse needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with ADHD and challenging behaviour is essential.
  • A patient, compassionate demeanour, with a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs are desirable but not essential.
