Teaching Assistant

Academics are working with secondary schools across Warrington and we are currently looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support our client secondary schools in both short and long-term supply roles.

As a supply Teaching Assistant you'll have the opportunity to work within a variety of school settings providing support to pupils across years 7 -11 and also have access to long-term positions.

Your new role as a Teaching Assistant with Academics

You will be responsible for supporting pupils within mainstream classroom settings.

You will need to be nurturing, caring and pro-active and actively encourage access to the curriculum in a way that benefits the pupils and their needs focussing on progression and their classroom engagement.

Our schools are looking to appoint someone who is able to hit the ground running and make a real positive impact on their students.

You will need to have experience of supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour and have great communication skills as you will be regularly communicating with students, teachers and parents.
