An experienced and supportive teaching assistant is required for a vibrant primary school in Salford. This is a full-time role for next academic year, starting in September.

This Teaching Assistant role will be based in Key Stage 1 and will involve supporting groups of children, at all ability levels, with learning activities, and will also involve delivering interventions to children with additional needs.

You will need to have experience in a Teaching Assistant role and to have good understanding of the curriculum and expectations for Key Stage 1. It is essential that you have experience leading groups with Phonics and Guided Reading.

The Teaching Assistant is required from the start of autumn term until the end of summer term in July 2025.

Essential requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Teaching Assistant qualification and experience
  • Professional references covering the last two full years
  • Experience working in a UK Primary School
