Trainee Compliance Consultant, Newcastle-upon-Tyne

Salary £23,795 plus £500 monthly bonus

Talent84 is delighted to once again be supporting our award-winning fintech client with their search for a Trainee Compliance Consultant to join their busy compliance department team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to join one of the UK’s leading wealth management companies and play a key role. The successful candidate will be eager to develop their career in financial services and will be supported in gaining their Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a third-party consultant to directly authorised firms
  • Work towards the Level 4 Diploma, to become a qualified Compliance Consultant
  • Responding to emails and phone calls in a timely manner
  • Conducting biannual compliance audits
  • Speaking to financial advisers to answer general compliance-related queries
  • Keeping up to date with regulatory changes
  • Ensure processes are consistent with internal and industry standards

Requirements

  • Eager and willing to study towards gaining the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice
  • Experience in customer service or administration would be advantageous
  • Hold a Bachelors degree in a Business or Finance related specialism (desirable)
  • A genuine desire to progress their career in financial services
  • Have excellent communication skills and highly organised
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
