Responsibilities include:

- Implementation of software solutions to fulfill the business needs, balancing between rapid development and code quality, in agreement with both IT management and the head of desk

- Design, code, test, and deploy the software solution within agreed constraints and existing code

- Maintain and enhance the existing systems and various tools used for daily tasks

As the systems are used across many asset categories, the candidate needs to be rigorous in their work and be ready to regularly communicate with other teams.

Competencies

Technical Skills

Familiar with object-oriented designs

Knowledge in C#/.Net, Java, and/or C++; We are open regarding the technical background but take heed that the current platform is C#/Windows

Knowledge of data structures and algorithmic complexity

Python knowledge is a plus

Knowledge of Windows is a plus

Knowledge in memory / CPU profiling / optimization and multithreaded debugging is a plus

Knowledge of CI/CD platforms is a plus

Functional Knowledge

No finance background is necessary, but top candidates will have some knowledge in the following fields:

- Financial markets, specifically FX cash and/or NDF products

- Back-testing principles

- Electronic exchange / market / broker platform connectivity

Spoken Languages

Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory

Spoken French is a plus but not essential
