Are you fresh out of college or have you worked for a bit and are looking for an opportunity to join a company that will train you and develop you?

We are recruiting for a manufacturer based in St Neots who are looking for a trainee to join their established maintenance and repair team. You will need to be ambitious, hard working, and essentially mechanically minded. Ideally someone who likes tweaking around with cars or working out how to fix machinery. The work will be challenging, varied, sometimes physical but rewarding with plenty of opportunity for career progression.

This firm is at the front of net-zero building services. They are the only UK firm making heat pumps capable of connecting directly to a DC Microgrid. (you will know what that is once you start your training !!) They specialise in solar energy, lithium-ion battery systems, industrial controls software and all types of refrigeration technology.

Although small this engineering firm have high standards of workmanship. They design and manufacture their own systems which are customised to meet client's specific needs.

• The ideal candidate once trained would feel equally at home working with industrial controllers on a Monday, overhauling a compressor on a Tuesday or cabling up a chiller on Wednesday.
• The work can be physically and technically demanding, so we need a person who is curious about how things work, is fit and is flexible.
• You would receive extensive training in refrigeration & heat pump technology, industrial control systems and electrical engineering.
• All in all you would grow a broad and valuable skill set in an industry that will grow quickly
• They don’t expect you to be a technical expert, but will want to see that you are a curious, hard working, polite and team-oriented person. Someone who is able to understand engineering theory but who can at the same time work well with their hands
