Our client is a family run business which supplies warehousing facilities, transport and distribution covering the UK and Europe. Due to continued expansion they require 2 additional Transport administrators to work withing the administration department in their Selby office. One role is to work 9 until 5.30pm and the 2nd is to work 11am until 7pm. My client is proud of the longevity of service which spans their team, some who have achieved over 30 years’ service.

Duties include:

• Working mainly on their inhouse management system and the system which supports their network of partners to follow through deliveries to their end destination

• Inputting traffic jobs

• Dealing with a high volume of queries via phone and email

• Monitoring deliveries are running on time and liaising with the relevant partners to update them of any issues/delays

• Liaising internally with their traffic department with regard to any changes or updates to the system

• Assisting the Transport Team with administration requirements and booking forms

• Processing proof of deliveries of goods

The roles requires skills/experience in:

• Customer service via email and phone

• High level of attention to detail with administration

• A team player who is happy to help others
