This is an attractive opportunity for a Year 1 early career teacher (ECT) or experienced teacher to become a valued member of a professional and supportive team in a desirable, welcoming 3 form primary school located in the Royal borough of Chelsea and Kensington.

The role

As an enthusiastic and capable Year 1 teacher, this role has a great deal to offer and is a fantastic way to kickstart your career. As a key function of the role, you will be required to foster a learning environment and educational experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to fulfill their individual potential.  You will also be responsible for using a variety of teaching delivery methods appropriate to the individual learning styles, and the varying demands of the curriculum, with the aid of the friendly and encouraging team.

The ideal candidate

The school believes the quality of staff is crucial to pupils’ success and therefore you must have the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Have experience teaching
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Passion and enthusiasm for teaching and student success
