Tradewind have an exciting opening in a fantastic primary school based in Kensington. We are looking to appoint a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 2 with ASD.

If you are an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a chance to work in an inclusive school and build on your professional development in education, please apply!

We will also welcome applications from Graduates looking to progress in Education with no current classroom-based experience.

About the role:

  • Support a pupil in KS1 on a 1:1 basis
  • Child is diagnosed with ASD and has some learning difficulties
  • Lead and create intervention sessions
  • Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress
  • Contribute to the success of the wider school

Requirements:

  • Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant is ideal but not essential
  • Initiative and a pro-active approach
  • Bachelor's degree is ideal but not essential
  • Must be available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
