PROGRAMME MANAGER
  
A global technology company is looking for a Programme Manager to come and support the team for 12 months!
  
You will provide regional support to local HR Business Partners and employees regarding accommodations of their workspace relating to medical illness or disability. You will be a very important part to ensure that the organisation is in accordance with Diversity and Inclusion policy. The is a really cross functional role where you will be liaising with many stakeholders.
  
PROGRAMME MANAGER ROLE:
  • Supporting HR Business Partners with the development and management of workplace adjustment programs tailored to the needs of employees with disabilities or medical conditions
  • Staying abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to disability accommodations and medical illness support
  • Collaborating with HR, legal, and other relevant departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Serving as the main point of contact for HR Business Partners with employees requesting workplace adjustments due to disabilities or medical conditions
  • Coordinating the accommodation process, including assessing individual needs, identifying appropriate accommodations, and facilitating their implementation
  • Providing guidance and support to managers and employees throughout the accommodation process, ensuring clear communication and understanding of rights and responsibilities
  • Developing and delivering training programs for managers and employees on disability awareness, accommodation procedures, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture
  • Offering one-on-one consultations and resources to educate employees about available support services and accommodations
  • Promoting awareness and understanding of disability and medical illness issues within the organization
  • Collecting and analyzing data related to workplace adjustments, employee satisfaction, and program effectiveness
  • Preparing regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement
  • Using data insights to continuously refine and improve the workplace adjustment program
PROGRAMME MANAGER ESSENTIALS:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of HR or Programme Management with HR/People Projects
  • Ideally experience or at least passion for occupational support for under represented populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs preferred.
  • Empathy, patience, and a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
