Location: Chester
My client is seeking a motivated Residential Property Fee Earner (Conveyancer) to join their team in Chester. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the full range of residential property fee-earning work for client files, demonstrating the ability to work independently and in line with the firm’s quality and risk management procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting client matters accurately and reliably, adhering to established procedures.
- Generating fee income and managing time recording, billing, and cash collection in accordance with targets.
- Actively participating in business development opportunities for the team and the firm.
- Providing supervision and support to colleagues as needed.
- Engaging in marketing activities and client interactions in a professional manner.
- Managing correspondence and documents through the case management system.
- Maintaining proper filing procedures for client files.
- Attending group meetings and contributing to discussions.
- Developing new work from existing clients and seeking new clients.
- Cultivating a network of contacts and promoting the firm’s reputation.
- Alignment with the firm’s mission statement and core values.
- Strong team player with organizational and communication skills.
- Efficiency and timeliness in completing tasks.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Conveyancer/Paralegal.
- Relevant qualifications and experience for the role.
You will report to and be supported by the Team Head.
